David utilizes his diverse professional background to benefit his clients. David practices in the areas Wills & Trust, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Estate Litigation, Tax Controversy and Business Law. David also serves as Guardian ad Litem as appointed in adult incompetency cases.
David is currently attending the American College on a scholarship from the Penn Mutual Center for Veterans Affairs. David is completing the course of study required for the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). These courses enhance David’s expertise in estate planning and tax practice areas.
Prior to law school, David served nearly ten years as a law enforcement officer. Also during that time, David was a member of the North Carolina Army National Guard, where he served a tour of duty in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom II (2004).
David enjoys spending time with his wife, Beverly and his two daughters, Kate and Lily, during his off time. David and his family are members of First Presbyterian Church and also attend Port City Community Church.
